| The way this game starts out is in a karate tournament. It takes a while to get used to the controls, but after a while you will get through the fights easy. The fights at the beginning of the game sort of turned me off of the game thinking that that would be all that the game is, but after three or four fights the game switches over to an action side scrolling type game. This is the greatest part of the game, it kind of feels like a better looking Double Dragon. While you are trying to reach the end of the level by kicking and punching enemys that jump at you, you can obtain special punches and kicks. There are bonus levels scattered around each level which take you away from the stress of the constant kicking and punching. The bonus levels are very strange, they do not tell you how to do them, you have to figure that out on your own, and by the time you do that your time is already up and you lost the bonus. There are a few different types of bonus levels, fly catching with chop sticks, ice break. There are a lot of bonus levels located all around the levels. The controls are hard to have accuaracy with. When the game needs you to jump over a hole in the ground its kind of scary because you dont know if you can do it because the controls arent too good. Overall, this is a fun game to play. It doesnt get boring like I thought it would, doing the same thing over and over. |
