| This Dragon Warrior game has advanced well past its previous games. The story of this game changes as you advance. The game is in chapters, each chapter has a different character to battle with, witch is kind of upsetting because you have to start your new character out at level one when you took all the time to get your previous character way over the level needed to beat that chapter. There have been many updates to this game. Unlike the first game where you only fight one enemy with one of your own characters, you can have around 3 or 4 people in your party at once, all with different abilities. This makes battling a little easier than the battles in the first Dragon Warrior. There are a few draw backs that I have found with the party, when buying weapons and armor for people in your party, you dont know who can use them, so sometimes you might buy a weapon that you dont need because one person cannot equip that item. The item system is also kind of annoying. One person can only carry around 8 items. Well, your weapons and armor count as items in your item screen, fully equiped you can take around 5 slots in your item menu away from having some type of healing item or something needed. Overall, this is an exelent game, the flaws are easy to get over. The leveling up is a lot easier to do than in the first Dragon Warrior. |
