This game has got really bad Reviews in the past but to me, its a great game.
You play as.... a person I guess and your walking around Elm Street! There are bats, weird zombie women and other weird things walking around which I don remember being in the film. None the less, here you are walking around and your goal is to go inside of each House you find, go through the level collecting Freddys bones and eventually you will have to kill a part of Freddy at the end of the stage, an arm for example.
The gameplay is great, I have no complaints. The only thing that bugged me was the slow loading times in between when you were not dreaming and dreaming. When you dream, all the enemies will change form into something tougher and scarier, for example a Bat will turn into a weird floating head thing, killing bats can be annoying as in any game...Bats are just plain annoying.
The graphics(for the time) are well put together, theyve got Freddys face just right. One thing that doesn make sense is the person you play as, it gives you NO indication as to he/she is. Great graphics in general though.
The sound is OK, nothing to brag about.
Controls are very nice, you can happily jump around punching stuff without bad controls stopping you.
